Refund & Cancellation Policy
Free initial assessment
Submitting a case and our initial assessment are free. You can withdraw a case at any time before accepting a proposal, at no cost.
Paid work only by written proposal
No fees are payable until you accept a written proposal that sets out the services, deliverables, milestone-based fees and payment terms.
Cancellation before work begins
Proposed, subject to applicable law: if you cancel within 3 business days of accepting a proposal and before work has started, you will receive a full refund of any amount paid.
Cancellation after work begins
You may cancel at any time by email. We will stop work and provide a statement of the work completed, calculated using the milestones or documented rates specified in your proposal. Amounts paid for services not performed will be refunded, subject to applicable law.
If we stop a case
If we decline or stop a case for reasons that are not your fault, we will refund amounts paid for work not delivered.
Outcomes
Investigations do not guarantee results. An outcome you are unhappy with does not on its own entitle you to a refund; if you believe we did not deliver a service described in your proposal, please use our Complaints Procedure.
Refund processing
Proposed target: approved refunds are processed within 10 business days, to the original payment method where possible.
Payment status
Online payment collection is not currently active and will not be enabled until the fee structure has received legal approval.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any cancellation or refund rights you have under the laws of your state or country.
Asset tracing and financial investigation services do not guarantee the recovery of lost funds. Outcomes depend on the circumstances of each case and the availability of lawful recovery options.
